As a QESH Specialist (0,5 FTE) you will be responsible for leading activities related to QESH (quality, environment, safety and health) and/or coordinating external consultants ensuring the QESH compliance according to each country regulations. You are responsible for monitoring, shaping, implementing and executing activities that contribute to the (microbiological) quality, environment, health and safety within your country organization. You are responsible for achievement, maintenance and improvement management system in your countries. You are an important link between the strategy outlined at European level and its practical implementation in your countries. You work closely with Regional QESH Lead and local Operation and Customer Unit Leads.
Individual accountabilities/responsibilities
- Set-up and implement a local strategy in line with the Corporate strategy to (further) develop the aspects of quality, environment, safety & health; QESH Specialist will be in direct contact with international QESH team members and in close collaboration with an external provider of Safety&Health services.
- Follow changes in local regulations and ensure that mandatory regulations in respective country are fully respected. Through strict collaboration with external experts if necessary. To be in touch with municipal and national entities to ensure correct safety and environmental reporting.
- Support the local management team by providing expertise on local laws and regulations (and/or being the liaison to external consultants) on health, safety & environment.
- Promote and initiate continuous improvement approach and encourage local team to improvement action within business processes. Analyse audit reports and ensure that relevant corrective actions are taken within processes and check efficiency of this action.
- Monitor and coordinate necessary hygiene and microbiological checks. Analyse results and initiate action if necessary.
- Plan, prepare, conduct an internal and external audits to maintain local certifications. Follow up and supervise corrective action implementation.
- Support local management during customer audit.
- Maintain management system documentation.
- Initiate and lead local & international improvement projects on quality, environment and working conditions and report progress.
- Carry out regular Gemba Walks focused on QESH requirements.
- Promote QESH approach within local management and staff to make quality, environmental, safety and health perceptions an integral part of their daily operations.
- Maintain relationship with external bodies such as customers, competent authority and certifying bodies, laboratories.
- Support communication with customers from quality point of view as well as facilitate process of customer claims management.
- Support in preparing corporate social responsibility reports. Cooperation with the CWS sustainability team, especially when you receive a questionnaire on this topic from a customer.

Key Experience and Behaviours
- Relevant work experience and understanding of business processes in a comparable role in production environment.
- Knowledge of management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Knowledge of microbiological quality in washing processes according to RABC EN14065 (advantage).
- Structured, proactive and action-oriented working style.
- Persistence, resilience and solid problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Positive, flexible, collaborative attitude with the ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent Czech, English at least at level B2 is a must.
- Good command of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
