With Alpha Welding 2, CWS is expanding its product range with a high-performance PPE range complying with welder protection class 2. The work trousers combine optimal wearing comfort with high breathability and outstanding protective features. They are ideal for workplaces where temperatures are high and welding work commonplace. The trousers protect wearers from heat, flames, weld spatter and molten metal splashes, for example. Not to forget their anti-static functionality!

The high level of protection is thanks to Tecapro^®. This textile combines flame-resistant, comfortable cotton with durable polyester and Static Control™, which is responsible for the anti-static effect. The material weighs 450 g/m² – a great value for the level of protection it offers. The smooth surface is the result of a special weaving technique and repels weld spatter and metal splashes effortlessly. Whether working in convective or radiant heat, performing MAG welding or grinding work, the employee can focus on the demanding task at hand and benefit from the workwear’s reliable protection all the while. Important: Wear the trousers together with the work jacket to ensure the neck, arms and legs are completely covered at all times.

Customers have the choice of dark grey or dark blue for the welder trousers. Belt loops and an adjustable elasticated waist ensure a perfect fit. Reflective stripes at calf height improve visibility in the dark. In addition, the trousers feature knee pad pockets and standard pictograms on the left leg pocket. In total, the trousers have five pockets including a bellows pocket with a folding rule compartment.
