Identifying risks at an early stage, integrating safety measures at the workplace and raising employee awareness - these are the goals of the safety campaign launched in 2020. In addition to the company's other health and safety measures, the campaign focuses on the topic 365 days a year – not only today during the World Day for Occupational Safety and Health. The campaign was initiated by the QESH department (an abbreviation for Quality, Environment, Safety and Health).
The self-imposed goals are to be achieved through workshops. Those are also aimed at the managers. Managers are important as role models and mediators between employees and the company.
The results after the first year show that the safety and training measures have had the desired effect: The number of accidents at work has already been significantly reduced. For CWS, this is an important milestone on the way to preventing all occupational accidents by 2025.
