Dreieich, 5th November 2019. CWS’ service principle has revolved around recyclable and safe workwear for some time now. In future, this is also set to become an important component of the material concept, as CWS is beginning to work with recycled polyester and is testing out options for making workwear more sustainable in the long term. In addition, the company also updated its brand identity from CWS-boco to CWS in April, impressing with a fresh, modern look. From 5th to 8th November, visitors to the A+A, the leading trade fair for occupational health and safety in Düsseldorf, will be able to find out more about the new collections and services for 2020 at Booth E32 in Hall 5.
Clean. Well. Safe. is the slogan at the CWS booth. The system provider will be showcasing highlights from the fields of workwear, hygiene and fire safety for the specialist public at this year’s trade fair. CWS-boco and the boco brand were adopted into the umbrella brand CWS and took on a brand-new look back in April. This will be the first time that the system provider appears at an international trade fair under its new, strong brand.
Innovations for 2020
CWS presents sustainable workwear: Following on from CWS’ success as a pioneer in Fairtrade workwear with its first four collections, the renowned service provider is now poised to employ recycled polyester in a new workwear range being launched next year. The added bonus here is that alongside the 75% recycled polyester, the remainder of the garments will be made from Fairtrade cotton. In addition, CWS is expanding its range to include T-shirts in different colours also containing sustainable polyester.
At the same time, CWS is introducing new colours for its Profi Line Protection multifunctional clothing range. All of the workwear collections were designed with the principle of mix & match in mind, meaning they can be flexibly combined and are therefore also ideal for clothing personnel working in different areas and with different duties.
Safe & sound with our rental service
All CWS collections are available in our reliable rental service. This offers companies multiple advantages: the clothing is professionally laundered and reprocessed. The service provider also checks the garments’ protective functions every time and ensures that they continue to satisfy the relevant occupational health and safety guidelines. The innovative HiVis Quality Check allows visitors to check the protective functions of high-visibility clothing for themselves at the A&A booth.
Wear2Wear: joining forces for a sustainable textile cycle
CWS is now a member of the Wear2Wear industrial partnership for sustainable workwear. This innovative partnership of companies is committed to sustainable and environmentally friendly business. Each partner makes an individual contribution to the textile cycle. The result is high-quality, responsible clothing: old textiles from across Europe are used to produce new functional textiles. The process produces no waste and textiles can be continuously reused to produce new, upcycled garments. Other partners include the fabric manufacturer SympaTex, yarn producer Carl Weiske and textile manufacturer Schoeller Textil. For more information, please visit www.wear2wear.org.
Hygiene & fire safety solutions
Companies whose employees wear gloves for their jobs or repeatedly come into contact with water or oil are required by law to ensure the availability of adequate skin protection and skincare measures. With its skin protection programme, CWS offers optimal protection and gentle skin cleaning in a rental service. The CWS SmartWash Plus also illustrates how sustainable handwashing with water and soap should be done properly. Preventative fire safety solutions are also part of CWS Safety’s exhibition portfolio at the A+A.
