With its particularly low weight of just 180 g/m2, this grey long-sleeved work shirt offers great freedom of movement and is particularly comfortable to wear. CWS produces it with 98 per cent high-performance Nomex® fibres from our partner DuPont. This high-performance fabric is inherently flame-retardant and also used in racing car driver’s fire-proof overalls. It protects against flames and radiant heat without the use of chemicals. The advantage: Nomex® heat protection clothing retains its protective effect even after multiple washes.
The high-quality work shirt with turn-down collar is distinguished by its straight cut. The concealed press studs down the front produce a clean look but primarily contribute to the heat and flame protection. The patch pockets on the breast offer plenty of space for storing frequently used tools and equipment. The Nomex® shirt complies with the “roof-tile principle”: for example, its flaps prevent liquids from entering the pockets. The concealed press studs are also not a weak point of entry.
The heat protection clothing can only achieve its certified protection level when the garments are worn together: they must cover the upper and lower body, throat, arms and legs. The Nomex® Comfort work shirt is the perfect complement to the work jacket and the work trousers and dungarees in the same range.
