The dark grey work jacket combines reliable heat and flame protection with impressive comfort. The Nomex® jacket has a turn-down stand-up collar and adjustable cuffs, plus four outside and one inside pocket offering plenty of space for a wide range of tools. The extended rear waistband keeps you warm and offers additional protection thanks to “roof-tile principle”: it overlaps the matching trousers even when the wearer bends over – liquids run off the clothing without penetrating. As such, this heat protection clothing can only be of maximum effect when the work jacket and trousers are worn together.
The flaps over the pockets and the concealed press studs also help protect against flames, heat and fault arcs by preventing flames and sparks from entering or taking hold. Integrated Kevlar® threads ensure higher cut resistance when dealing with sharp parts, whilst anti-static fibres help prevent sparks. Reflective piping contributes to the wearer’s visibility and adds a design feature.
One key advantage of the Nomex® Comfort work jacket is its low weight: The fabric contains 93 per cent high-performance Nomex® fibres from our partner DuPont. The same material is also used for the fire-resistant overalls that racing car drivers rely on for their health and safety. At 220 g/m2, the heat protection clothing weighs less than a thick shirt, allowing it to bring together a particularly light and comfortable feeling with great freedom of movement and certified protective properties. The Nomex® jacket protects without having been treated with chemicals and retains its protective effect even after multiple washes.
