What are the real strengths of modern workwear?
Visitors to A+A 2025 soon realised that these strengths often begin where you rarely look: in fibres, processes and services that typically remain invisible.

That's what makes A+A so special
As the leading trade fair for PPE and workplace safety, A+A 2025 once again demonstrated why it remains the most important meeting point for the industry’s PPE community. The increasing demand for high-performance, flexible and sustainable multinorm workwear was clearly visible. Today’s businesses must respond more dynamically to changing work environments and diverse hazard zones. They expect workwear that combines protection, comfort and responsibility. With the theme “Hidden Features – More Than Just Workwear”, we at CWS Workwear took visitors on a journey and showed them what is often not visible at first glance.Visitors’ experience at the fair: discover hidden features
At the exhibition stand, visitors could see how much technology and expertise goes into modern protective workwear. Our VIP guest, CWS Wörki, guided attendees digitally through this world and shared exclusive insights into the CWS Workwear service universe:- 3D Style Assist: Digital PPE development covering fit, movement and material behaviour.
- InnovationLab: Material testing such as abrasion resistance, tear resistance and water repellency.
- Laundries: How our professional care processes ensure that every protective function is maintained.

Product-wise, there was just as much to discover. A special highlight: the new multinorm range featuring three flexible lines, optionally available with or without reflective strips, high-visibility elements and in various colour combinations. The response was clear: demand for multinorm workwear is growing rapidly.
In the end, only one thing matters: that the person wearing our workwear gets home safely. That is precisely why we develop, test and improve our PPE every day.

Future trends: what will remain and what the industry can expect
A+A 2025 clearly shows where the world of protective workwear is heading:- sustainable and PFAS-free fabrics
- digital development processes
- flexible multi-norm solutions for increasingly complex work environments
