Description

High-quality high-visibility jacket made from recycled PET bottles: we employ recycled polyester sourced from old plastic bottles as the material for our new CWS pilot jacket. The result is comfortably light high-visibility clothing weighing just 200 g/m2 and offering an optimal fit as well as premium wearing comfort. The pilot jacket corresponds to protection class 2 or 3 depending on the chosen size and is thus also ideally suitable for municipal outdoor work. Reflective stripes around the torso and sleeves boost the garment’s high visibility even further.

The new pilot jacket impresses with its high environmental friendliness – plus its tried-and-tested protective function. Under the slogan “Know what you wear”, customers receive insights from CWS Workwear into the sustainability of their workwear in a transparent manner. The jacket features a sewn-in label with a QR code, which can be scanned to access a website transparently explaining the textile’s ecological footprint. In this way, users can learn, for example, what material they are wearing against their skin, where the textiles originate, under what conditions they were produced and what impact their production and the supply chain have on people and the environment.

How long a product lasts is another important environmental aspect. The longer a garment is used for, the more sustainable it is. The high-visibility jacket impresses on all counts in this respect: it is very robust, hard-wearing and durable. If any signs of wear appear, CWS performs repairs wherever possible instead of replacing the item.

The light pilot jacket is available in safety yellow and safety orange. It is also fully lined, ensuring employees stay warm and cosy even on cold days. The tightly fitting elasticated knitted cuffs on the long sleeves and the tall stand-up collar also protect against draughts and the cold. The front features a zip with chin protection on the collar. Two side pockets and one breast pocket, all with zips, offer plenty of storage space for tools. There is also one inside pocket.

Please note: For optimal all-round protection, the pilot jacket should be worn together with appropriate work trousers. Those available in the Alpha HighVis and Pro Line HighVis collections are ideal, for example.
