This neckerchief completes the professional chef&#39;s workwear. The triangular scarf is wrapped around the neck and ensures above all that sweat is absorbed and does not soak the collar of the chef&#39;s jacket. In this way, it protects the neck from inflammation. Also, if the workplace is changed frequently -- from the hot kitchen to the cold cold room or freezer and back to the hot kitchen -- the unprotected neck would be exposed to comparatively high temperature fluctuations and could quickly become sore.
