What does the PSA User Regulation mean for companies?
Companies must ensure that the protective clothing used is safe, functional, and hygienically sound. Additionally, the clothing must be inspected and certified every five years.
Another change: During inspections, businesses are required to present PSA manufacturer information and a declaration of conformity. This declaration confirms that the PSA complies with legal requirements. Previously, it was sufficient to present the declaration “upon request.” Therefore, when purchasing protective clothing, it is important to ensure that the necessary documents are provided.
