Jürgen Höfling has served as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the CWS Group since June 2019. He also heads the CWS Executive Leadership Team.
Previously, as Managing Director Europe, he was responsible for Rentokil Initial’s business in 14 countries. In 2017, he was appointed as Rentokil representative to the Shareholder Committee of the Joint Venture formed as part of the integration of various business units into CWS-boco. Before joining Rentokil Initial, he held various management positions at Deutsche Post AG, most recently as CEO DHL Global Mail.
Jürgen Höfling started his career in 1989 after completing his studies in Business Administration as Marketing and Key Account Manager at Werner + Mertz. The portfolio of the medium-sized German manufacturer of cleaning and care products includes well-known consumer brands such as Erdal and Frosch.
As Chief Financial Officer, Heiko Karschti has headed the Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Audit and Corporate Legal departments of the CWS Group since January 2018. He is also a member of the CWS Executive Leadership Team.
An economics graduate, he started his career at Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH in 1994. Karschti worked both in Haniel Rohr- und Kanalservice GmbH and in the controlling department of the holding company before moving to Haniel Bauindustrie (Xella from 2001) in spring 2000. There he served in various positions – most recently as CFO.
Hartmut Engler joined the CWS Group in March 2021 as Chief Divisional Officer of the Workwear International division. He is also part of the CWS Executive Leadership Team.
Hartmut Engler has more than 25 years of professional experience in the service sector to bring to his new role at CWS. After two years as a member of the Executive Board at the Dussmann Foundation, the engineering graduate was most recently a member of the Executive Board and Chief Digital Officer at Gegenbauer Holding, one of the largest German companies in the facility management industry.
Velina Allerkamp leads the Hygiene Division since September 2021 as Chief Divisional Officer. She thus returned to the CWS Group: in March 2019, she had already taken on the role of Head of Corporate Development at CWS before moving to Haniel Holding, where she accompanied the realignment of the company. Most recently, she was responsible for the Progress segment at Haniel as Investment Partner.
Velina Allerkamp started her career in 2005 in the M&A department of the investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, followed by seven years in investment banking and strategy consulting, and another seven years at the listed mechanical engineering group GEA Group AG.
Henning Siemens has been Regional Managing Director at CWS since January 2020. In this role, he is responsible for workwear in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region).
Having joined the company in 2005, he initially worked as a project manager in the Key Account department and subsequently held various management positions. Most recently, as Customer Unit Lead, he was in charge of existing customer support in the West/Central region.
Florian Hünke von Podewils has been responsible for the Washroom Care and Floor Care divisions in the German CWS management team since June 2016.
He joined the company in 2002, starting out in Corporate Business Development and Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions at CWS-boco International. In 2014, he took over as Managing Director of Operations & Logistic.
Markus Schad has been the Managing Director responsible for Healthcare & Cleanrooms at CWS since January 2019 and is a member of the CWS Executive Leadership Team.
Markus Schad joined the company in June 2018. Previously, he had worked successfully for over 15 years in a number of companies and in various positions in the cleanroom and textile industries.
Dr. Ulrich Schild assumed responsibility for Fire Safety at CWS in July 2018. Additionally, he is a member of the CWS Executive Leadership Team.
He holds a doctorate in Economics and has been with the company since 2017. Initially, as Group Director of the Integration Management Office, he oversaw the merger of the joint venture. He was previously employed at Franz Haniel & Cie. GmbH for almost six years, most recently as Head of Strategic Planning and Controlling.
