As a fire safety service technician, you work at CWS Fire Safety in the area of preventive fire protection and are responsible for the maintenance, testing and servicing of fire safety equipment. Tasks of service technicians: Fire protection
A fire safety service technician has a variety of tasks, all aimed at effectively implementing fire safety measures and ensuring safety in buildings. These include:
- Maintenance and testing of fire safety equipment: As a fire safety service technician, you check fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, fire doors and other safety-relevant installations.
- Maintenance and repair: As a fire safety service technician, you ensure that all fire protection systems function properly and are repaired if necessary.
- Documentation and reporting: You document your work and prepare reports on the condition of the fire protection equipment.

Our service vehicles
Our service technicians are mainly on the road in Mercedes vehicles such as Sprinter, Vito or Citan. These are fully equipped with all the necessary tools and spare parts so that even unforeseen repairs can be carried out directly on site - without any additional travel. This not only contributes to efficiency, but also reduces CO₂ emissions.
In addition, our latest service vehicles offer maximum comfort: heated seats, air conditioning and, depending on the location, auxiliary heating ensure pleasant working conditions, regardless of the weather.

- Testing day: See what tasks you would have as a fire safety service technician and accompany one of our team members for a day.
- Induction: In the first few weeks, you accompany a team member and learn steadily until you feel ready for your own projects.
- Training and further education: In our "Fire Safety Academy" training center, you will receive basic and advanced training. In addition to theory, the practical part is particularly important to us. You can deepen the knowledge you have learned in various trades.
Fire Safety Academy
The Fire Safety Academy is our own training center in Rödermark near Frankfurt am Main. Your practical knowledge will be continued here to become a fire safety service technician. We have practice stations for almost all fire safety facilities where you can directly deepen the knowledge you have learned. The Fire Safety Academy offers comprehensive assembly and maintenance training in mobile, technical and structural fire safety as well as in safety technology. In over 30 different specialist courses, you will learn everything about the installation and maintenance of fire extinguishers, smoke and heat extraction systems, fire alarm systems, fire doors, safety lighting and much more. This is where your career as a fire protection service technician can start.

What qualifications do I need to start as a service technician?
We are looking for experienced people who have already worked in fire protection and security technology as well as those who are new to the security industry. Completed training in a skilled craft is a basic requirement. For example, mechatronics technicians, metalworkers, electronics technicians, mechanics, bricklayers and similar skilled crafts.

We provide a wide range of training courses in our own training center
