CWS Fire Safety GmbH offers fire protection and safety technology solutions from a single source with a strong fire protection network. Operationally, we have been active in fire protection since 2016. Our head office is located in Duisburg. You will find our branches all over Germany to be fast and close to our customers. From Duisburg, we are expanding our network in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands in preventive fire protection and safety technology and actively support our regional branches in overarching topics.

Management of CWS Fire Safety
CWS Fire Safety is led by Malte Pohl and Kamal Kumar. Together, they are responsible for the company’s strategic and operational development. With their shared focus on customer focus, operational excellence and sustainable growth, they are consistently driving forward the successful development of CWS Fire Safety.
A key component of this is the consistent ‘buy-and-build’ strategy. Through targeted acquisitions, CWS Fire Safety is continuously expanding its range of services, its specialist expertise and its regional presence.

Kamal Kumar
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
As Chief Financial Officer, Kamal Kumar is responsible for the commercial functions at CWS Fire Safety. His areas of responsibility include Controlling and Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Procurement, Project Management and Mergers & Acquisitions.
His focus is on further strengthening the financial stability and long-term viability of CWS Fire Safety. Together with his teams, he creates the conditions for sustainable growth, digital development and efficient processes. In doing so, he strengthens the foundation for reliable services, long-term partnerships and the company’s successful development.
Malte Pohl
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
As Chief Operating Officer, Malte Pohl is responsible for the day-to-day operations of CWS Fire Safety. His area of responsibility covers the sales markets of Germany and the Netherlands, as well as the Safety Technology profit centre.
His focus is on supporting customers with reliable, efficient and practical fire protection and safety technology solutions. Together with his teams, he works to ensure high service quality, smooth processes and a consistent focus on the customer. In doing so, he combines operational excellence with a clear understanding of the needs of customers, partners and staff.
