Electroacoustic system - advice, installation & maintenance

Electroacoustic systems are used to alarm large crowds of people in one place (e.g. at airports). With an integrated alarm function, ELA systems enable large numbers of people to be addressed directly by means of a public address system. In this way, warnings can be issued, or instructions given, e.g. for evacuation. ELA plants are equipped with an emergency power supply or uninterruptible power supply and impedance monitoring for individual loudspeaker circuits if they have to be operational in the event of a power failure.

Electroacoustic systems are often installed in the following areas:

  • Public buildings and hotels
  • Conference centres, event locations and exhibition halls
  • Shopping centres, shops, and supermarkets
  • Airports and railway stations
  • Sports facilities

Maintenance and inspection of Electroacoustic systems: Electroacoustic installations must be serviced at least once a year by a competent person. In addition, an inspection must be carried out at least once a quarter.

CWS all-round carefree package: we analyse the local conditions, plan, install and maintain the respective electroacoustic system (incl. approval with the responsible authorities). We are also happy to install acoustic and visual signalling devices, e.g. loudspeakers or amplifiers.

  • An automatic replay of specific evacuation instructions in case of fire detection
  • The system can also be used for music and other announcements when there is no alarm
