Fire alarm system - advice, installation & maintenance

The fire alarm system is connected with various fire detectors. It gives early warning of smoke and fire and has a connection to the local fire brigade. In case of fire, manual as well as automatic fire detectors send the information via a data telegram to the fire alarm system. This triggers the alarm of the local fire brigade, the internal alarm and possible fire control systems. Fire control systems are responsible for opening smoke vents, closing fire closures and other fire protection equipment. Fire alarm systems are preferably used in industry and trade, as well as for all applications with building authority requirements for special constructions.

CWS fire alarm systems meet the requirements of DIN 14675 for fire alarm systems and DIN VDE 0833-1/2 for hazard alarm systems.

Testing, inspection and maintenance of a fire alarm system: An expert must approve a fire alarm system after installation. At regular intervals, depending on the state building regulations at the latest every three years, the fire alarm system must be examined. DIN 14675 also requires an inspection at least once every quarter. In addition, the fire detection system must be inspected every three months for contamination and damage of fire detection components, structural modifications, and changes to the ambient situation. At least once a year, the fire alarm system must be maintained by a competent person. Further obligations associated with the installation of fire alarm systems are the installer's certificate and the keeping of an operating logbook.

All-round carefree package: We analyse the local conditions for you, plan, install and maintain the respective fire alarm system. In addition, we obtain approval for your fire alarm system from the relevant authorities. We also offer you fire brigade run cards, fire brigade key depot or a fire brigade information centre.
