Fire safety assistant training is very important for safety in companies. Fire safety assistants support the employer and fire safety officer in fire prevention. In an emergency, they help to fight fires, arrange for evacuation of their area of responsibility and accompany people on their way to a safe assembly point.
According to the Occupational Health and Safety Act (§ 10) and the Technical Rules for Workplaces (ASR A2.2), employers are obliged to provide fire safety assistants. Five percent of employees are usually required. Depending on the fire risk and other factors, additional people must be trained to ensure that the required number of fire safety assistants is provided.
CWS offers fire safety assistant training throughout Germany.
