Foam extinguishers - advice, installation & maintenance

The fire extinguisher with foam extinguishes fires of fire classes A and B quickly and reliably.

  • Fire class A: solid, predominantly organic substances (e.g. wood, paper, textiles).
  • Fire class B: liquid substances or substances that become liquid (e.g. plastics, paints, tar, petrol).

Foam extinguishers are used wherever it is important to protect sensitive infrastructure in the vicinity and to avoid visual obstructions caused by e.g. powder. Furthermore, a fire extinguisher with foam is also useful wherever vertical surfaces are affected. Unlike powder, foam adheres to the objects and effectively prevents re-ignition. In addition, the water it contains provides a cooling effect.
