The first time in internal sales

Kerstin has been working in the internal sales department at the CWS Fire Safety Oberhausen branch since February 2024. With the support of her colleagues and her husband Niko, who works as a site manager for the Münster branch, her induction went smoothly. “At the beginning, I had fixed contacts in the office who were always there to help me,” says Kerstin. “Niko, with his experience, was also always there to help me with advice and support.”
Internal sales representative with a heart
In her role as an internal sales employee, Kerstin is responsible for creating and following up on quotations. As a dedicated internal sales employee, she maintains sales data and supports customers both by telephone and in writing. Her tasks also include preparing invoices and sending out contracts, test reports and documentation. “What I enjoy most is the all-round contact and service to customers, because it is precisely this area of sales that requires so much teamwork and at the same time so much detailed preparation,” adds Kerstin, who feels completely at home in her position as a member of the internal sales team.
A special moment on International Women's Day
A humorous moment marked Kerstin's induction phase on International Women's Day. Niko, her husband, was supposed to travel to the branch in Bremen on this day, but stayed at home for Kerstin's induction. In an online meeting, a colleague from Bremen joked: “Niko probably just didn't want to come to Bremen because he didn't want to bring any flowers for us women.” Suddenly, Kerstin's voice could be heard in the background: “He's not bringing me any flowers either!” The laughs were on her side and this moment quickly became a running gag. (Working and living together has its pros and cons 😉)
