Water mist extinguishing system - advice, installation & maintenance
Water mist extinguishing systems (or fine spray extinguishing systems) have special nozzles and sprinklers that disperse the water so finely that a water mist is created. This water mist is characterized by a droplet diameter of less than 0.1 mm. The resulting increased total surface area of the water is distributed very well over the entire source of the fireThe resulting cooling and smothering effect ensure particularly effective firefighting with reduced use of extinguishing water.
Water mist extinguishing systems protect people particularly well because water mist absorbs heat and binds toxic smoke gas. Besides, material assets are protected because they get much less water than with classic sprinkler systems.
With CWS you have the choice between two variants of water mist extinguishing systems:
- Low-pressure water mist extinguishing systems up to 16 bar
- High-pressure water mist extinguishing systems ober 16 bar
