Every year on 09 October is International Fire Prevention Day. It is the commemoration of the Great Chicago Fire that raged from 08 to 10 October 1871 and destroyed large parts of the city centre. We are using today to give you the opportunity to review your fire safety knowledge.

If a fire breaks out, everyone should be able to do at least the following things:

1. Call the fire brigade
2. Warn people in the vicinity

In addition, it is helpful to know even more about fire occurrence, extinguishing attempts and, above all, fire prevention. During the practical fire extinguishing exercise, all participants learn through active action how to behave correctly in a dangerous situation and thus save human lives and protect property.
