From old to new! How CWS employees envision the sustainable handling of used textiles

We all want to continuously become better. Better - for CWS this means one thing above all: more sustainable. In order to leave a healthy environment for future generations, it is essential to handle resources more carefully. To this end, we are constantly developing our products and processes further.

For the sustainable handling of retired workwear and protective clothing, the company is also happy to draw on the know-how of all employees. As part of an ideas competition, CWS colleagues were invited to show how they envision the sustainable use of used garments. And they did: We received 70 creative approaches, which range from design changes to increase reuse, to new business models around used textiles, to ideas for upcycling products.

CWS subsequently develops the best ideas into product and process concepts in workshops together with the senders. We are curious to see which submissions we can soon present as new CWS products or processes.
