Another CWS Fire Safety site in the Netherlands

• Second Dutch location of CWS Fire Safety
• Acquisition of Wardenburg Beveiliging B.V. with locations in Kolham and Almelo
• Expansion with fire alarm and security systems

Duisburg, 25.08.2021 – CWS Fire Safety GmbH, the CWS Group company specialising in preventive fire safety, is continuing its growth course in the field of fire safety and security and is taking over the Dutch company Wardenburg Beveiliging B.V. from Kolham near Groningen. The share deal was completed with closing on 01.08.2021. Wardenburg achieved a turnover of 8.8 million euros in 2020 and employs around 90 people. The company focuses on the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems and security technology such as intrusion detection systems, video surveillance and access control systems. Just like CWS Fire Safety, Wardenburg offers its customers all-round service. From consulting and planning to installation and commissioning to maintenance and repair, the fire alarm and security systems are offered from a single source. All Wardenburg employees will be taken over and the locations will be retained. The long-standing management team around Alex Kort and Anita Bos will continue to run the company in the future.

Only a few weeks ago, in June 2021, CWS Fire Safety entered the Dutch market for fire protection and security with the acquisition of Hefas Brandbeveiliging from Duiven. “The Netherlands is an important market for CWS, where we already have many existing customers. With the second Dutch location, we are taking a further step to also offer our existing and new customers in the Netherlands installation, maintenance and repair of a broad portfolio of products in the field of fire safety and security from a single source," says Dr. Ulrich Schild, General Manager of CWS Fire Safety. Further acquisitions in the Dutch market are planned.
