CWS Fire Safety is expanding abroad

Duisburg, 24.06.2021 – CWS Fire Safety GmbH, the CWS Group company that specializes in preventive fire protection, continues its growth course in the fire protection sector and takes over the Dutch company Hefas Brandbeveiliging. In 2020, Hefas achieved sales of EUR 6.5 million with around 40 employees. Hefas is a perfect match for CWS Fire Safety, as it also offers its customers a full range of fire protection services for all types of property from a single source. This includes fire detection and evacuation, structural fire protection, extinguishing solutions and emergency lighting. A special focus of Hefas is on fire alarm systems. “The exchange on the acquisition with Hefas was highly professional. Hefas is in a very good organizational and economic position, which has led to an efficient acquisition process”, says Daniel Koller, who managed the acquisition as Lead M&A at CWS Fire Safety.

The employees will all be taken over and the location should potentially be expanded further together with the existing management team in order to be able to offer customers an even larger portfolio. Ulrich Schild, Managing Director of CWS Fire Safety GmbH adds, “In the future we would like to combine fire protection and safety technology even more closely. In Germany, we already offer both technology systems regionally, and that should also be the case for foreign locations in the future." Not only in the Netherlands, but also in other European countries, discussions are ongoing with companies that are active in the field of fire protection or security technology.
