My employees work on machines. Do they have to wear machine protective clothing?

It depends. Is there a risk, for example, that the sleeve can get caught in the machine while working? Then by all means. The clothing won't prevent a sleeve from being caught, for example, but it will greatly minimize the risk of injury. Machine protective clothing is designed so that you can remove it quickly should the clothing be caught by any part of the machine.

What is special about machine protective clothing?

Machine protective clothing must fit snugly, be properly closed, and have fasteners that are not designed to be open-ended to the outside. The fasteners must be concealed.
