A new generation of high-visibility jacket: with Alpha HighVis, CWS is launching a collection on the market which combines the reliable high visibility of warning protection class 2 with premium sustainability. The work jacket is made from 100 per cent ecological Tecawork Ecogreen™, an EPD®-certified material composed of TENCEL™ lyocell and recycled polyester. It is sustainable, robust, durable and impresses with exceptional colour brilliance even after many washes. Not only that, but it is also very light at just 260 g/m2 (safety yellow) / 270 g/m2 (safety orange).
Alpha HighVis is ideal for use in municipalities, for example in waste management, logistics and transport companies. TENCEL™ lyocell is excellent at regulating moisture and has a cooling effect – which means extra comfort in summer especially. The high-visibility clothing also offers UV protection to boot.
The high-visibility jacket has a stand-up collar which closes with a press stud, concealed press studs down the front facing and an extended back to protect the wearer from drafts. Reflective stripes around the torso and sleeves increase visibility. The width of the cuffs can be adjusted with the press studs. Dark, contrasting panels on the sleeves and at the waist mean dirt doesn’t show up as much. The work jacket has two side pockets with concealed press studs and an inside pocket on the left. The breast pocket, also on the left, is equipped with a vertical zip making it easier to reach your hand in.
CWS offers the high-visibility jacket both in two safety yellow combinations – with dark blue or dark grey – and in three safety orange versions. The latter are available combined with dark blue, dark grey and dark green. If you are interested in adding name tags or company logos, please ask your customer representative for more information.
This high-visibility jacket complying with warning protection class 2 impresses with top sustainability. The EPD®- certified Tecawork Ecogreen™ material is composed of TENCEL™ lyocell and recycled polyester, making it particularly environmentally friendly.
· Safety yellow versions: 65% recycled polyester | 35% TENCEL™ lyocell
· Safety orange versions: 80% recycled polyester | 20% TENCEL™ lyocell
· Warning protection class 2, UV protection of 40+
CWS is setting new standards in sustainability with Alpha HighVis. The high-visibility clothing is certified in accordance with the EPD® regulations, meaning that the products boast an excellent environmental record throughout their entire life cycle – with a particular focus on water and energy consumption, the use of chemicals, the generation of emissions and waste as well as transport logistics. The Tecawork Ecogreen™ fabric is composed of TENCEL™ lyocell fibres from sustainable timber production and polyester from recycled PET plastic bottles. In addition, under the slogan “Know what you wear”, CWS Workwear offers its customers insights into the sustainability of the workwear in a transparent manner. The safety orange versions of the products in the Alpha HighVis collection feature a sewn-in label with a QR code, which can be scanned to access a website displaying the textile’s ecological footprint. The information available includes details of the materials’ origins and production as well as the impact that the production and supply chain have on people and the environment. CWS also ensures that its suppliers operate in accordance with ethical and sustainability standards. They have all committed themselves to the requirements of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), and CWS additionally audits suppliers in risk countries to verify their compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct. In addition, the material impresses with its high wearing comfort, long durability and top functionality.
