The Alpha Nomex® work jacket made from twill material offers reliable protection against heat and flames. Thanks to its integrated anti-static fibres, it also helps prevent sparks. The heat protection function of this clothing is essentially down to the use of high-quality Nomex® fibres. Our partner DuPont employs this material for workwear for the fire brigade and police, for example, but the inherently flame-retardant fibres are also popular for drivers’ overalls in motor racing. Another bonus of the work jacket available in dark blue and blue is that it is also suitable for occasional welding work.

The straight-cut Nomex® jacket impresses with its turn-down collar, front yoke and back yoke as well as an adjustable cuff. Concealed press studs make the work jacket easy to fasten and open, while three pockets on the front offer plenty of storage space for tools and all are equipped with a flap and concealed press studs for additional safety.

Refineries, utility companies and the electrical industry are just a selection of the workplaces where the Alpha Nomex® heat protection clothing showcases its great qualities. The practical advantage: the design is similar to that of the Alpha Welding line for comprehensive protection when welding – the two sets combined give your employees a uniform, professional appearance. Pictograms on the outside immediately show whether the garment is for protection against heat or when welding, thereby avoiding confusion and irritation at work.

Please also note: The certified standard only applies for the work jacket and trousers worn in combination. CWS can also add name tags and company logos to the front and rear of the heat protection clothing. Please ask your customer consultant for more information.
