CWS uses 100% Proban® cotton from the Alpha Welding collection for its welder trousers. This finishing process renders the natural fibres extremely flame-resistant. In addition to heat/flame protection, the welder work trousers also protect wearers from molten iron splashes, radiant heat and weld spatter. These properties makes them the ideal choice for light or observational welding work.
Thanks to the natural cotton fibres, the trousers, which come in dark grey and dark blue, weigh just 335 g/m2 and are extremely comfortable to wear. Knee pad pockets guarantee additional comfort when kneeling down to work. In addition, the straight-cut welder trousers feature a fly with concealed zip and a waist band with concealed button closure and belt loops. Not to forget the side pockets, back pocket, bellows pocket on the leg and a bellows folding rule pocket. With the exception of the side ones, CWS has designed all the pockets to feature flaps and concealed press studs, which contribute to heat and flame protection.
The trousers only achieve the certified protection level when worn together with the matching jacket, which is why the two garments are to be regarded as a set. The neck, arms and legs must be covered at all times. CWS also enables the welder protective clothing from the Alpha Welding collection to be fitted out with name tags and company logos.
