The welder jacket in the Delta Welding 2 range is suitable for all Class 2 protection welding jobs, including, for example, MAG welding with carbon dioxide and mixed gases. The blend of 90 per cent cotton and 10 per cent polyamide protects the wearer from both heat and flames. The material also impresses with great wearing comfort and a weight of just 420 g/m2 – putting the welder protective clothing among the lightest available for Class 2 protection.
The welder jacket available in dark blue has four pockets on the front, plus two inside pockets and an additional smartphone compartment. In accordance with the requirements for heat and flame protection, the pocket flaps are finished with concealed press studs – this prevents liquids from entering the garment. Additionally, the welder protective clothing has a stand-up collar, which is closed using concealed press studs just like the front of the jacket. The cuffs are adjustable to ensure an optimal fit. CWS has included the standard pictograms on the left sleeve where they can be easily recognised. Thanks to its compatible design, Delta Welding 2 is an ideal match for the Delta Multiprotect and Delta Multiprotect HighVis collections.
CWS will be happy to equip the welder jacket with name tags or company logos. Your customer representative can show you the available options. Important: The welder jacket forms a set with the corresponding trousers – the garments only achieve the certified protection level when worn together. The neck, arms and legs must be covered at all times.
This welder jacket is suitable for all Class 2 protection welding jobs. It also provides heat/flame protection and impresses with excellent wearing comfort and a light weight.
