The work jacket in the Steel Proof® collection includes a range of essential protective characteristics in a single garment: it protects against heat and flames as well as against molten iron splashes, fault arcs and electrical discharges. Together, the cotton and polyamide produce a material weight of 450 g/m2. The strong blend of cotton and polyamide impresses with high robustness and comfort equally. Thanks to its various certifications, the heat protection clothing is suitable for use in companies in the metal industry and workplaces with high radiant heat.
Pictograms printed on the outside indicate immediately what protective characteristics each garment offers – thereby avoiding confusion. The work jacket has a stand-up collar, which covers as much of the throat as possible thanks to its concealed press stud. Reflective piping across the chest and arms of the heat protection clothing additionally increases the wearer’s visibility. The adjustable cuff and concealed press studs on the front and waistband of the work jacket ensure an optimal fit. Two breast and two side pockets as well as one inside pocket offer plenty of storage space for small tools and other items. All of the press studs on the heat protection clothing are concealed. Among other advantages, this prevents flames and liquids from entering the work jacket.
Important: The throat, arms and legs must be completely covered to achieve the certified level of protection. For this reason, the jacket and trousers or dungarees go together to form a functional unit.
