This heat protection clothing offers maximum protection against fault arcs. One special feature of the new Nomex^® Comfort Plus collection is that all of the products offer all-round protection with their two-layer design – in other words, protection on both the front and back of the item unlike those from most other suppliers. Thanks to the high-quality Nomex^® fibres from our partner DuPont, the work jacket protects against heat and flames at the same time. Among its rivals, the work jacket weighing 405 g/m² is among the lightest items of clothing to offer class 2 fault arc protection. As such, it combines essential protective features with great wearing comfort in an ideal manner. The wide range of possible situations where this workwear can be worn include in utility companies, at car battery manufacturers and in workplaces where employees deal with heavy current.

All Nomex^® Comfort Plus products are distinguished by the two-layer design. Between the lining made of 100% Nomex^® fibres and the outer layer made of Nomex^®, modacrylic, cotton and carbon there is a layer of air which functions as an excellent heat insulator.

The Nomex^® jacket available in blue/dark blue has four outside pockets and one inside pocket. For the certified protection against heat and flames, the outside pockets all are closed with a flap and concealed press studs. An elasticated side panel and adjustable cuffs ensure great wearing comfort and an optimal fit. The stand-up collar covers as much of the throat as possible; the extended rear waistband has a similar effect, maintaining the protection against heat and fault arcs even when the wearer bends over.
