Junior HR Business Partner (CZK / SK)

We are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner who is eager to develop into a full HR Business Partner role. The ideal candidate should have some basic HR experience (especially in recruitment), understand general HR processes, and be keen to learn and grow. You should be communicative, fluent in Czech, Slovak, and English (minimum B2 is mandatory), and open to business travel, as you will be supporting HR activities across two countries: the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business leaders in understanding their HR needs 
  • Collaborate with experienced HR Business Partners to learn and develop skills in key HR areas
  • Responsibility for managing the entire recruitment process and building a positive candidate experience
  • Take part in talent development initiatives, performance management, and succession planning, under the guidance of experienced HR professionals
  • Support initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and inclusive work environment to enhance employee engagement and retention
  • Contribute to the development and communication of HR policies and procedures
  • Help ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia
  • Actively participate in HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, process improvements, and organizational development programs, to gain practical knowledge and experience
  • While a high level of independence and self-initiative is required in managing your responsibilities within your area, you will always have the support of the Regional HR Manager and other team members. We are a close-knit, smaller HR team that works very collaboratively and is always ready to help each other.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in recruitment or a generalist role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and best practices
  • Knowledge of employment laws is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to adapt to new situations
  • Fluency in Czech, Slovak, and English (mandatory)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Workday is a plus
