Description

With these dark grey work dungarees, CWS is offering a practical alternative to the work trousers from the Nomex® Comfort collection. Their specific weight of just 220 g/m2 makes them particularly comfortable to wear at work. The focus of the dungarees is on protection against heat and flames, which they provide thanks to 93% high-performance Nomex® fibres from our partner DuPont. This high-performance textile is also used in racing car drivers’ overall and protects the wearer from fire and its effects. Nomex® fibres are inherently flame-retardant without any chemical treatment, which means they retain their protective properties even after multiple washes.

In combination with the Nomex® Comfort work shirt or the corresponding jacket, the dungarees are ideal for use in workplaces with high radiant heat. Their integrated Kevlar® components ensure greater cut resistance when dealing with sharp-edged products, while the anti-static fibres in the heat protection clothing help prevent sparks and thus the risk of explosions.

The work dungarees impress with plenty of storage options for tools: two side seam pockets, one back pocket, one leg pocket, one folding rule pocket and a bib pocket. With the exception of the side seam pockets, all are equipped with flaps and concealed press studs to prevent liquids from entering the heat protection clothing. The adjustable, elasticated braces are closed with quick-release buckles and the fly features a concealed zip. Reinforced knees offer protection against bruising. The reflective stripe around the bottom of the leg adds a fresh design feature and improves the dungarees’ visibility.

CWS can add name tags and company logos to the dungarees in the heat protection clothing range upon request. Please ask your customer consultant for more information.

Note: The work dungarees only achieve the certified heat and flame protection in combination with the matching work jacket. Of course, they also go well with the Nomex® Comfort work shirt.

Sustainability

CWS develops and processes durable and recyclable workwear with textiles and raw materials which are as sustainable as possible. Renting clothing from us for years saves resources. Instead of replacing damaged items immediately, we repair garments professionally wherever and whenever possible. The washing and drying processes in our industrial laundries use electricity and other energies as efficiently as possible. Fresh water is used repeatedly instead of just once. CWS ensures that its suppliers operate in accordance with ethical and sustainability standards. They have all committed themselves to the requirements of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and CWS additionally audits suppliers in risk countries to verify their compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct.
