Your tasks as Operations Business Analyst (m/f/d)

As a Operations Business Analyst, you act as the analytical right hand to the Group Director. You transform complex, cross-country data into meaningful business insights, enabling leadership to make informed decisions across Operations, Logistics, Fleet, and Commercial topics. Working independently, you combine recurring reporting with deep-dive analyses, helping shape strategic initiatives across our European business.

Your role with us as Business Analyst – Operations (m/f/d)

  • Analyzing, cleaning, and interpreting large datasets from multiple countries and systems to generate actionable business insights

  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses and translating complex business questions into clear recommendations for senior leadership

  • Designing, maintaining, and continuously improving dashboards and recurring reports, primarily in Power BI

  • Identifying data quality issues and driving improvements to reporting processes and operational transparency

  • Writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract, combine, and analyze business data efficiently

  • Leveraging AI and LLM tools to automate analytical workflows and improve reporting efficiency

  • Presenting analytical findings and business recommendations to the Group Director and other senior stakeholders

What you bring:

  • University degree or strong internship experience in Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Operations, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel, and Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools

  • Experience working with larger datasets and transforming data into meaningful business insights

  • Practical experience using AI and LLM tools to improve analytical workflows and reporting

  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with the ability to manage ambiguous tasks

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluent business English skills; German language skills are considered an advantage
