Our future is at hand, let's move forward
The corona measures have been further relaxed, but one important basic principle remains: "wash your hands well and often." And it's not just an important basic rule regarding corona; it makes an important contribution to reducing the spread of almost all infections transmitted through hands and surfaces.
That's why on October 15, on Global Handwashing Day, we're reflecting on the importance of washing hands with soap worldwide. Especially for Global Handwashing Day, we launched a 'wash your hands' challenge on Facebook, with video and quiz.

Washing hands is healthy
The theme of this year's Global Handwashing Day is "Our future is at hand, let's move forward". A future in which hygiene remains a fundamental part of our health and safety.
Every day we come into contact with objects that can be full of bacteria. Think of a door handle, armrest, cash or an elevator button. In this way we transfer the germs to objects and other people with our infected hands. And that's not good for everyone's health.
80% of infections are spread by hand. Encouraging good hand hygiene is therefore an effective way to combat diseases.
Hygiëne in eigen hand
