The CWS Cotton Towel Dispenser combines hygiene with comfort and circularity. Each user receives a clean portion of a soft cotton towel, separated from the used material by a two-chamber system. The cotton is highly absorbent, and the soft fibres not only dry the hands but also rub them extra clean. After drying, the towel automatically retracts. There is still a misunderstanding about the use of cotton towel dispensers. Just to clear that up right away: with the cotton towel dispensers from CWS, no one uses the same portion of towel a second time.
Thanks to the dual-chamber system, the towel roll is split between:
- a chamber that stores the clean part, only dispensing fresh portions, and
- a chamber that stores the used part, which stores the towel that has been used.
Each user gets a new, untouched portion of cotton. And after drying, the towel retracts automatically, so no towel is left hanging, and there is no risk of contact with used material. In non-touch models, this process is completely contact-free for even more hygiene.

After use, this piece of towel is pulled into the 'used chamber' and cannot be used again. Cotton dries effectively while being gentle on the skin. How does a cotton towel dispenser work?
The dispenser uses a smart dual-chamber system. One chamber holds the clean, unused part of the cotton towel roll, while the other stores the used portion after drying. After each use, the towel automatically retracts into the dispenser, leaving no exposed material for the next user. In non-touch versions, the entire process is completely contact-free, ideal for spaces with high hygiene requirements.

What happens to used cotton towels?
Once a towel roll has been used, it’s collected by our CWS service team. We then wash it using environmentally friendly methods in certified laundries, check the quality of every roll by hand, and return it fresh and ready to use again. Each roll can be reused up to 100 times. And when it’s finally worn out, it’s given a second life as a mop or cleaning cloth, nothing goes to waste.
Is there any waste from cotton towel dispensers?
Hardly any. Unlike paper towels that often end up overflowing in bins or clogging drains, cotton towels are part of a circular system. The cotton itself is 100% biodegradable and reused multiple times before being upcycled. That means significantly less waste in your washrooms and a lighter footprint for your building.
How often are towel rolls replaced?
That depends on your usage. Our CWS service driver replaces the towel rolls regularly, at pre-agreed intervals, to ensure there's always a clean supply available. This means you don’t have to worry about a thing. Stock levels, laundry, and maintenance are all taken care of by us.
