New cleanroom laundry opened in Eindhoven

Further expansion of Europe-wide laundry network

The cleanroom market is growing sand with it the requirements for GMP Annex 1 compliant textile concepts and corresponding laundry capacities. For optimal supply, the company built a second cleanroom laundry in Eindhoven between 2022 and 2023. With this investment for the growth of customers from the pharmaceutical, life sciences and semiconductor industries in the Benelux, the company built another state-of-the-art production facility with future-oriented technologies and successfully put it into operation in March. Since then, the site professionally decontaminates in a 2-shift model in ISO 5 class. The official opening now took place at the end of September.

Successful opening event

Together with invited customers, the opening of Eindhoven 2 was celebrated. In addition to interesting presentations, customers got an insight into the modern and energy-efficient facilities during tours through the laundry. Furthermore, the company presented its range of services as well as innovative and sustainable solutions.

The customers on site were convinced: "We are happy for CWS Cleanrooms. This laundry is an important addition, also for us customers," said a long-standing client. Likewise, Egbert Jan Schulenburg, Regional Manager Operations of Cleanrooms Eindhoven, was happy: "In a very short time, we have built another cleanroom laundry here with state-of-the-art equipment that meets the highest quality standards. Today we were able to celebrate this together with our customers. An important milestone for the company and the Eindhoven site."
