The 220days work jacket impresses with an optimal fit, great feel-good factor and GORE® WINDSTOPPER® technology. Not only that, it’s also sustainable. Among other materials, it is made with cotton from the Fairtrade programme and recycled polyester. CWS developed the high-quality work jacket in cooperation with the U.S. manufacturer GORE®. It brings together the light and breathable material used in outdoor clothing with the resilience of a workwear jacket.
Thanks to the GORE® WINDSTOPPER® technology, the work jacket also protects the wearer from the wind chill effect, making sure they stay warm even when cold winds blow and unpleasant draughts prevail. In addition, the breathable Windstopper membrane ensures a pleasant body climate despite soaring temperatures and when physical exertion is the order of the day. The mesh fabric on the inside also has a cooling effect. Thanks to the unisex design, it cuts a fine figure with men and women alike.
The details of the work jacket include a stand-up collar with chin protection, adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fasteners and mesh lining in the back panel and the sleeves. Reflective piping in the shoulder and elbow regions protects the wearer by making them clearly visible in poor light conditions. One breast pocket and two side pockets offer plenty of space for storing tools.
With 220days – the name refers to the number of working days in a year – CWS has developed innovative workwear which modularly expands the remaining range. The work jacket can be combined with all CWS workwear collections.
The work jacket guarantees a great feel-good factor. The GORE® WINDSTOPPER® technology protects the wearer from the wind chill effect, plus the jacket is breathable, very light and made from sustainable materials.
CWS has set itself the goal of producing each garment as sustainably as possible, which is why environmental protection and high-tech textiles are now the standard at CWS. The product innovations in the 220days collection are made using recycled polyester and cotton from the Fairtrade programme. The cotton is fairly traded and impresses thanks to the use of low levels of pesticides and water in its production. In addition, compliance with stringent social standards is also checked for the Supporting Fairtrade Cotton label. With 220days, our customers can extend their sustainability strategy right down to their workwear.
