As part of CWS’ chemical protective clothing collection, the Type 6-certified work jacket is also made of a polyester fabric. It achieves the highest level of protection against liquid chemical splashes possible in the textile clothing segment. Highlights of its professional finishing include the downward-oriented lap seams, where two pieces of fabric are sewn overlapping in order to achieve a particularly high tensile strength and bursting strength. In addition, liquids run down the seams instead of getting caught on the fabric.
Polyester already offers excellent protective properties as a raw material, but CWS additionally hydrophobizes the artificial fibres for use in the electroplating industry, for example, so they also repel oil and water. The chemical protective clothing also reduces the risk of chemical burns and protects against aerosols. As always, the jacket can only achieve its certified protection level when worn together with the trousers or dungarees.
The grey work jacket has a concealed tab of buttons down the front. Together with the turn-down collar, it covers the upper body and as much of the neck as possible optimally. Adjustable cuffs improve the wearing comfort. The jacket is equipped with a breast pocket on the left with a stitched-down flap and press stud, an inside breast pocket and two external side pockets with flaps and two closure options.
Note: Remove the work jacket as soon as it comes into contact with chemicals. CWS will take care of the further reprocessing of the garment.
We will also be happy to attach your company logo or your employee’s name tag to the chemical protective workwear. Our customer consultant will be happy to tell you more about the possibilities.

The washing and drying processes in our industrial laundries use electricity and other energies as efficiently as possible. Fresh water is used repeatedly instead of just once. CWS develops and processes durable and recyclable workwear with textiles and raw materials which are as sustainable as possible. Renting clothing from us for years saves resources. Instead of replacing damaged items immediately, we repair garments professionally wherever and whenever possible. CWS ensures that its suppliers operate in accordance with ethical and sustainability standards. They have all committed themselves to the requirements of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and CWS additionally audits suppliers in risk countries to verify their compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct.
