Safety signs give people orientation in case of danger. They point out escape routes, emergency exits and fire protection facilities. Tried and tested colour patterns and shapes make it clear without words what is at stake. Thus, safety signs such as fire safety signs are an effective and important supplement to other fire protection equipment.

Types of safety signs

• Escape route signs: e.g. nearest emergency exit, rescue exit, emergency exit, assembly point
• Fire safety signs: e.g. location of nearest fire extinguisher, fire alarm, wall hydrant
• Prohibition signs: e.g. No smoking
• Warning signs: e.g. flammable substances, danger from charging batteries
• Special designs for special applications are possible

Material of the safety signs

Safety signs are available in different materials such as self-adhesive foil, plastic, aluminium or magnetic foil. In addition, there are photoluminescent versions that are clearly visible even in the event of a power failure.
