Fire safety and evacuation assistants are of significant importance for every company. Together with the fire safety officer, they control the fire safety equipment in the company. They also provide support in the event of a fire by fighting incipient fires and assisting in the evacuation of the company.

Why is fire safety and evacuation assistant training necessary?
The Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG §5) and the Technical Rules for Workplaces (ASR A2.2) stipulate that, as a rule, at least 5% of the workforce must be trained as fire protection and evacuation assistants.
In addition, regular follow-up training is required after 2 to 5 years for all fire protection and evacuation assistants in the company.
How does the training course for fire protection assistants take place?
The training course for fire protection assistants is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the accident prevention regulations and the technical rules for workplaces. The training consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the event of a fire, prospective first aiders learn all the important facts about the origin of the fire, fire fighting, behaviour in the event of a fire and the fire protection equipment in the company. In addition, there is practical training in the handling and function of fire extinguishers.
Our fire protection and evacuation assistant training ais conducted by qualified trainers in accordance with DGUV. At the same time, they are often fire safety officers or group leaders in the fire brigade.
After the course, each participant receives a certificate of participation for submission to the employers' liability insurance association, DGUV, VdS and other authorities.
